Charisma Cardz - Christmas but NO Green, Gold or Red!

Good Morning!
Apologies for not having a card for the new challenge at CREATIVE INSPIRATIONS yesterday, which by the way is Traditional Christmas Colours! I caught a nasty stomach bug on Saturday night and have just felt absolutely awful since, luckily the projects on Monday & Tuesday had been made earlier in the day. So unfortunately I couldn't do any more crafting last weekend and after being sent home from work on Monday after 1hr and a half I couldn't even work until attempting to go back today. So keep your fingers crossed for me lol

Today's card is one that I also made on Saturday afternoon but I got the challenge theme mixed up so couldn't use it when I was meant to do lol However it fits in perfectly with this weeks challenge at CHARISMA CARDZ which is Christmas but NO Green, Gold or Red!

I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:
ALLSORTS - BRING ON THE BLING
SIMON SAYS STAMP - ANYTHING GOES

INGREDIENTS -
Tim Holtz Christmas Blueprints Stamp Set

Marianne's Designs Snowflake Die
Silver Embossing Powder & Emboss It Ink Pad

J&C Creations - Spellbinders Spectacular!

Good Morning!
This week over at the J&C CREATIONS BLOG it is our last week of showcasing things with a Spellbinders theme, so this week the theme is Spellbinders Spectacular! Me and the team will be sharing how can use Spellbinder's on projects a bit more different and also with products that you wouldn't normally use! I have decided to kick start this all off with a Christmas frame!

To create the frame start off by painting it with a layer of white Gesso paint then covering with Iced Spruce and Evergreen Bough Distress Stains. To complete the base cover it all with Distress Crackle paint, sprinkle some silver Frantage Glitter over the top and leave to dry. Using some Christmas stamps stamp them in the centre of each window. I have decorated the frame with a combination of die-cuts from the Spellbinders I was using last week, Ironwork Motifs. To give them a little more sparkle I have embossed the 2 large snowflakes with a Silver Pearl Embossing Powder and the smaller ones with a Holographic Powder and a Silver. To finish the frame I added some Silver dew drops and some Star Dust Stickles to the stamped image in the centre, finishing with a clear dew drop in the centre.

I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:
STAMPTACULAR SUNDAY - WINTER BLISS
ALLSORTS - BRING ON THE BLING
SPARKLES CHRISTMAS CHALLENGE - CONTEMPORARY COLOURS

INGREDIENTS -
Spellbinders Ironwork Motifs
Blank Frame

J&C Creations - Spellbinder's Motifs Christmas Decoration!

Good Morning!
Look what finally arrived for me earlier this week that I ordered last Friday ... you can tell what I'm going to be playing with this weekend! lol

Today I have a Christmas Decoration to share with you all that I have made for today's post over on the J&C CREATIONS BLOG. As you know this week we are showcasing the Spellbinder's Motifs and Accents and I decided to create a quick and easy decoration that will hang anywhere in your house!
To create the decoration cut 3 snowflakes from the die and cut a hole in the top of the centre on each using a crop - a - dile. Thread some organza ribbon through the holes joining each snowflake together and folding over at the top to create a loop. To cover the joins I glued a flower in the centre of each snowflake using 3D Gloss that I'd decorated with some Twinklets Glitter. Add a finishing touch of 3 different coloured dew drops on each snowflake.

I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:

INGREDIENTS -
Spellbinder's 'Ironwork Motifs'
Roses from Wild Orchid Crafts
Grey Organza Ribbon, Dew Drops & Twinklets Glitter from my stash

Before I go I just wanted to remind you that the CREATIVE INSPIRATIONS DESIGN TEAM CALL will be ending at Midnight Tonight and we are looking for 4 Members to join us in the new year! It doesn't matter what your preferred style is or skill level, anybody can apply!
To celebrate this I am also giving away some CANDY.... you don;t need to join in with the call to apply ... which is also ending tonight at midnight with the winner revealed here tomorrow!

I do hope you will check both of these thing out :)
Enjoy the rest of your day!

J&C Creations - Spellbinder's Motifs & Accents!

Good Morning!
This week over at the J&C CREATIONS BLOG we are focusing on the Spellbinder's Motifs and Accents! I have chosen to use the 'Ironwork Motifs' on today's creation and I have shown you how you can use the die-cut as an embellishment on your handmade card.

To create this card simply put all the layer together into a layout that you like, and place your die-cut just peeping out from underneath one of them. I think that by doing this just adds a little bit more interest. This card is at an intermediate level to make but you can make it easier by just using fewer layers.

I'd like to enter this into the following challenges:
TILDA'S TOWN - ANYTHING GOES
THE RIBBON GIRL - COLOUR CHALLENGE

INGREDIENTS -
Magnolia Stamp & Papers
Spellbinder's 'Ironwork Motifs'

Let's Dine!

Good Afternoon!
I just thought I would pop by today as I know some of you enjoy having a little peek at my house when I share some photo's. Well as mentioned yesterday I was waiting for my new Dining Table & Chairs to be delivered between 7am - 7pm ... well guess what time they turned up ... 7:05 am! lol I was certainly shocked by this as I was expecting it to be later in the afternoon and I was still in bed when they arrived lol Luckily I had set my alarm but I didn't actually hear them knock and the only thing that made me go check was due to being able to see the indicator lights flashing through my bedroom curtains from the parked lorry! lol
Anyway I just thought I would share you a photo of how it looks all dressed up ... the Pinecones were what I gathered earlier in the year from near my parent's house ... I knew they'd come in handy sometime lol
When I put my Christmas Decs up on the 1st of Dec they shall be sprayed with some gold paint along with a festive makeover to the table ... which of course I'l share a photo of too!

Anways enjoy the rest of your weekends, I've got some some DT Cards to make so I shall be back tomorrow with a new card for the J&C Creations Inspiration blog!
HAPPY CRAFTING!
